“Regenerating Rochester, New York as the (Edible) Flower City”
Lots of Food is committed to planting fresh fruits and vegetables throughout Rochester neighborhoods for any and everybody to eat. Lots of Food intends to make edible landscaping freely accessible and available, while sowing seeds of sustainability and food justice and regenerating Rochester, NY as The (Edible) Flower City!
Imagine! Folks of all ages and backgrounds working together to plant urban farms and food forests in public spaces throughout Rochester and mapping the location of the gardens. Free fruits, vegetables, nuts, herbs, and edible flowers are available to the public, whether or not you have had a hand in the planting, or a foot on the soil (though we hope you will).
These great videos below from our mentors illustrate what Lots of Food is all about until we make our own video!
